Young Adult: The powerful and timely I’M NOT DYING WITH YOU TONIGHT by Kimberly Jones and Gilly Segal kept me up past my bedtime—and has stayed with me since.
Adult (or any age): THE BOY, THE MOLE, THE FOX AND THE HORSE by Charlie Mackesy. My friend Charlene Busch gave me this one, which Lucy and I read together. We kept stopping and hugging each other and saying, “I wish I had this page in a frame.”
